A minimum viable product (MVP) is a product with just enough features to satisfy early customers and to provide feedback for future product development.
Our product includes hardware sensors that are worn by the karateka (karate student). It also includes software application that lets those karatekas and their senseis (masters, coaches) to see the results.
So, our MVP creation process consists of two parts: make the sensor as small as possible, which includes running on the smallest possible battery. And make software as feature rich as possible to be just barely useful. This means recognition of gestures and control of body angles that indicate proper technique.
We are very close, but still working to get there!
